Get Moving offers performances to schools, village and community halls and market towns venues through a range of subsidised schemes. Artists include dance and world music performers, and include Internationally established companies.Get Moving sources quality performance work by attending showcases, conference and Festival events in Europe and Canada particularly.
Get Moving brought to the UK International companies to perform in Spring 2009, from Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and The Baltic. The companies toured the North Of England, including Yorkshire dates, and additionally in a showcase in Durham County 1 – 4 April 2009. Get Moving will be co-ordinating National tours over the next two years, with companies offering music, culturally distinct work and dance from Poland, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Estonia.
