Without an enthusiastic team of highly skilled dancers and choreographers, Get Moving offers opportunities to schools, youth groups and young dancers to take part in youth dance activities. Many groups meet weekly and perform annually, or twice yearly at youth dance galas across North Yorkshire. In partnership with North Yorkshire County Council (Connecting Youth Culture) Get Moving runs a North Yorkshire County Youth Dance Company of up to 25 young dancers aged 13 – 19 years. The NYCYDC tours to schools in October each year and perform in regional and national showcases and events.
